Skylark IX receives funding for new canoeing project

Skylark IX Recovery Trust are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a grant of £11502 for our ‘Canoe Beginnings’ project from the West Dunbartonshire Community Mental Health & Wellbeing Fund.

Our new programme focuses on the Skylark canoes, built by members of our local community and aims to build confidence in the water, improve mental and physical health, and make use of the wonderful blue spaces within West Dunbartonshire. Participants will receive a recognised award certificate at the end of the programme, and have the opportunity to continue canoeing and rowing with the Skylark Community Rowing group.
