Recovery Project

Our aim is to restore and preserve Skylark IX and the values she embodies, creating opportunities for people to engage with and learn about local maritime and social heritage, develop new skills and through this, inspire positive mental and physical wellbeing life changes.

We are a very active organisation, focusing mainly on supporting clients of our partners, ‘Alternatives Community Drug Recovery Project’, and the communities of West Dunbartonshire. We do, however, welcome anyone who would like to get involved in our online and site-based activities.

Skylark is currently in the very safe hands of the Scottish Maritime Museum in Irvine as we plan her conservation and return to Dumbarton over the next few years.
